Tort

Tort is a civil wrong against a person. Under Indian constitution every citizen of India has certain legal interests and such legal interests become their rights. However, Infringement of such legal rights by another person is known as a Tort. Tort is not fully developed under Indian law, it is not even codified. Damages for committing a tort are in the form of unliquidated damages. There lies a duty on every individual to respect the rights of all other individuals and breach of such duty is known as Tort.
